The BobCar Executive Team

About Us

BobCar "Controls the Last 3 Feet of Retail..." for our clients. Our team of directors and senior managers have worked in, through and around high impact marketing programs and know what excites acceptance of a brand message. We saw that the large tractor-trailer tours greatly restrict adaptability, as a marketing tour travels to different locations, and their size limits the ability to reach out and engage a target consumer. The BobCar was created to provide the perfect medium for consumer outreach, to communicate with consumers where they live, work & play.

The BobCar Executive Team

  • Benjamin Cohen – President / Founder

Benjamin Cohen:Benjamin, warmly known to his friends and colleagues as Benny, established himself as a successful entrepreneur from an early age and continues to apply his extensive retail knowledge and business skills to maintain his trend of success. With 20+ years of experience in retail marketing holding every position from salesperson to owner of a chain of stores, he knows his clients, knows his market, and values the ROI he delivers. In 1986, Benny opened his first computer and electronics store in Scarsdale, NY. Within 3 years it became the highest grossing store (per square foot) in the country. He opened a second location inWayne,NJ, followed by three more stores inWoodbridge,NJ,Danbury,CTandPrinceton,NJ. His stores were so successful that he eventually had 50 retail locations & a team of over 300 employees.

From 1995-2000 Benny was the founder and president of International Business Systems (IBS), a technology center dedicated to providing technology products to the corporate consumer. Located inNew York City’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, IBS developed close ties with Mayor Guiliani’s office and the Convention and Visitors Bureau. In just three years IBS established itself as a global trendsetter and a cutting edge technology provider and was approached by Microsoft Corporation in 1998 to help with the East Coast launch of Windows’98. The launch at IBS drew in over 1,000 attendees and some 40 partner manufacturers including IBM, Compaq, Toshiba, NEC, Digital, Hewlett Packard, and Intel.

In 2000, Ben formed a real estate venture, Eden Rock Management, a brokerage and management company focused on commercial and residential real estate investment.  By 2005, however, his passion for driving Retail growth pulled him back into the Retail arena; this time, from a different perspective.  Brand Marketing demographics had changed significantly, as brands looks for ways to become more interactive with consumers, moreover, ways to reach out to niche consumers; Ben thus invented the BobCar…

BobCar Inc. was founded in 2006 and is the realization of Benjamin’s experience-driven ideas for effective retail marketing. BobCar’s motto is “Control the Last 3 Feet” and Benny is very proud to have brought to fruition the patented BobCar Mobile Showroom, which allows brand marketers and retailers to engage consumers in an unpressured atmosphere and provide the opportunity to try out a product right in the consumer’s ‘natural environment’, where they work, live and play. BobCar provides a sincere and fun way to attract interested shoppers and ready-to-buy customers into both retail and Online stores; every original launch of BobCar Media in a major market has led to improved sales and services, and an extension of the original contract.  BobCar serves nationally and has activated in most major cities in the United States, with plans to expand nationally.
