The New York-based carrier reached out to BobCar to help them increase their subscriber base, up the buzz & drive customers into T-Mobile retail stores and counters at retail partner locations, such as Best Buy.

SOLUTION
The T-Mobile Showroom ~ The BobCar® Media team designed and brought to life 3 Custom Fabricated T-Mobile Showrooms through the medium of the BobCar® vehicle. Each mobile showroom contained demo handsets, product information, Internet portals, custom signage, and an LCD monitor that streamed T-Mobile advertisements & how-to videos.
13-Week Pilot Program (85 total activation days)
- Each vistor of the mobile showroom was handed a $50 Rebate Card, educated on T-Mobile handsets & service plans, and referred to the nearest T-Mobile retail shop.
- Utilizing the BobCar’s laptops + WiFi connection, our Brand Ambassadors led customers through the billshrink.com 3rd party website, invited people to browse the T-Mobile website, and offered assistance with rebate redemption.
- In addition to offering assistance with rebate redemption directly from the Mobile Showroom we provided an exclusive website that made it easy to redeem rebates Online.
RESULTS
Sales ROI: Validated sales of over 6,700 phones sold at T-Mobile Retail as a result of the BobCar Mobile Showroom presence. Sales were validated through the use of referral activation coupon cards.
Impressions ROI: Over 100 locations visited, with continual coverage in Long Island, New Jersey, & five boroughs of New York:
(1) Primary Impressions: 695,000
(2) Secondary Impressions: 1,600,000
(3) Tertiary Impressions: 3,908,000
