Wendy’s chose BobCar to introduce their new breakfast menu to the South!
 

 
 OBJECTIVE

Drive traffic to Wendy’s restaurants utilizing the exciting new form of outdoor engagement powered by BobCar.

Deploy the new QSR meal program in Raleigh,NC&Kansas City,MOover a two week timeframce in November 2006.
 
SOLUTION

The Wendy’s Drive to Retail Program:

4 Custom fabricated BobCars from which we would hand out instant redemption gift cards in promotion of the new Wendy’s breakfast menu.

Strategized to engage morning commuters; we mapped out office parks and business centers to activate throughout each weekday, while we targeted malls/retail centers with large crowds on weekend days.
 
RESULTS

  • BobCars traveled to high traffic locations within the vicinity of pre-selected Wendy’s restaurants
  • 480,000 overall impressions in the two-week period.
  • Distributed over 120,000 target market coupons
  • Delivered both day/night program execution including bars, non QSR restaurants in both Downtown Raleigh and Kansas City
  • Saw QSR foot traffic increase 500% in a short two weeks
  • Saw QSR new menu item increase 10X
  • Delivered over 1.0 million media impressions during this short time frame
  • Delivered and confirmed that Wendy’s does serve breakfast
